Why don’t I have renter’s insurance? It’s not that I’m particularly in love with the stuff that I do have, but I have it. From what I hear, renter’s insurance is not very expensive. And I live in a place that’s just itching for another Andrew (it’s been 20 years). I’ve realized that the reason I don’t have renter’s insurance is because the most important things to me in this apartment can’t be compensated for, financially. If Renter’s Insurance was We Promise to Rescue Parker and Charlie in A Fire No Matter What Insurance, I’d buy 17 helpings of it. Since it’s not, I feel guilty for even thinking about it. Like if I lose my guys I shouldn’t have a new couch. Of course, I take them with me for the hurricanes…I need to get renter’s insurance.
