Shamrock Shakes are back! Not having had one, I’m forced to rely on the truthfulness of the commercial which caught me up to speed and assume that said shake is mint-flavored. It’s difficult for me to determine exactly why the Shamrock Shake is greeted with such enthusiasm by the masses. Is it the flavor? I wasn’t aware that mint was such a hot item. Perhaps because it’s green? Probably not; America has proven a general aversion to green food. It’s most likely that its beloved status stems from its limited availability. Even McDonalds milkshakes know how to succeed by playing Hard to Get.
